Account & Data Deletion — MMG-MALKHANA

This page explains how a user of the MMG-MALKHANA mobile application, published by MMG Infotech Pvt Ltd, can request deletion of their account and associated data.

MMG-MALKHANA is a closed workforce application. Accounts are created by the organisation that licenses the software, and that organisation is the owner (Data Fiduciary) of the data. A deletion request is therefore made to the organisation, and MMG Infotech carries it out on its instruction. A request may also be sent directly to MMG Infotech using the form below and we will act on it with the organisation.

How to request deletion

Send an e-mail to gaurav@mmginfotech.com with the subject line “MMG-MALKHANA — Data deletion request”.
In the e-mail, include the details shown in the box below so that the account can be identified.

You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours.
The request is verified with your organisation and completed within 15 days of acknowledgement. You will be informed once it is done.

You may also raise the same request with your own organisation’s administrative or nodal officer for MMG-MALKHANA. Either route leads to the same action.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Data	On deletion	Notes
Account and login credentials	Deleted	The account can no longer be used to sign in.
Profile data — name, user ID / PNo, rank, unit, office, mobile number, e-mail	Deleted	Removed from the active system.
App installation identifier (a random value created by the app)	Deleted	Not the device hardware ID, IMEI, advertising ID or phone number. Removed when the app is uninstalled.
Data stored on the phone (session token, basic profile)	Deleted	Removed as soon as you sign out or uninstall the app.
Property, evidence and case records (register entries, movements, releases, disposals)	Retained by the organisation	These are the organisation’s own official police records and, in many cases, evidence in ongoing proceedings. They are kept for the period fixed by that organisation’s record rules and by law, and are retained even after an account is deleted. MMG Infotech cannot delete them without the organisation’s instruction.
Photographs of seized property uploaded by the user	Retained by the organisation	These belong to the property record, not to the user account. A photograph removed by an officer is hidden from listings but retained in the record together with the reason and the identity of the officer who removed it.
System and security logs	Retained 180 days	Required under CERT-In directions, then deleted automatically.

MMG Infotech does not use any of this data for its own purposes, does not sell it, and does not share it with advertisers or analytics providers. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
